The HID Combination/Transition Keypad Reader 240 adds a PIN keypad to the dual-technology platform of the Model 230, supporting magnetic stripe, proximity, and PIN use simultaneously in a single reader housing. This makes it ideal for high-security transition deployments where some users still carry magnetic stripe cards and others have been migrated to proximity, while all require a PIN for entry. Compatible with EMPI, ABA/ANSI/ISO magnetic stripe, and HID/EMPI proximity formats. Read range up to 5.0 inches. Dimensions: 4.56" x 3.0" x 1.14".
